As part of the 2016 edition of the Public Pianos event organized by the City of Montreal, Jeunesses Musicales Canada (JMC) is pleased to announce several events taking place at the pedestrian stop located right next to the JMC House, 305 Mont-Royal Avenue East, on the corner of Henri-Julien.
Piano, winds and free concerts
On August 25, 26, 27 and 28, JMC presents four free concerts starring ensembles of some of the most talented and upcoming musicians. These concerts will take place at the pedestrian stop located on the corner of Mont-Royal and Henri-Julien.
- Thursday, August 25 at 4 p.m: Woodwind Quintet of the Music Faculty of the Université de Montréal;
- Friday, August 26 at 4 p.m: Brass Quintet Quintet of the Music Faculty of the Université de Montréal;
- Saturday, August 27 at 4 p.m: Brass Quintet’s Soloists Quintet of the Music Faculty of the Université de Montréal, accompanied by Louise-Andrée Baril, piano, with works by Weber, Grondhal and Schumann;
- Sunday, August 28 at 4 p.m: André Moisan, clarinet and Louise-Andrée Baril, piano, with works by Poulenc, Mozart and Gershwin.
