4 MUSICAL BIKES AND A CONCERT AT THE JOURNÉES DE LA CULTURE

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2017, FROM 10 AM TO 12 PM: THE ÉCOLE DE MUSIQUE ENCHANTÉE PRESENTS TOMORROW’S MUSICIANS
Jeunesses Musicales Canada invites the students of l'École de musique enchantée to perform at the public piano located at the "placottoir" near the Henri-Julien and Mont-Royal intersection. Come and encourage these musicians-to-be who will be playing courageously in the open, featuring an eclectic repertoire that is sure to please everybody!
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2017, FROM 12 PM TO 5 PM: THE MUSICYCLES
One piano, four bicycles. Are you intrigued?
Come "play the bicycle" to a Mozart quartet and a Brahms quintet while enjoying pianist Louise-Andrée Baril's dexterity on the keyboard while she accompanies the bicycle players. An installation consisting of four musical bicycles will allow you to "pedal" famous works from the classic repertoire. No musical knowledge required – only enthusiasm!
Before or after your turn, participate in our musical quiz to test your knowledge of the classic repertoire – you'll see, you know more than you think!
