Annabelle Canto tells the story of a young opera singer who, on the morning of an important recital, loses her voice and memory. From hypnosis to magic potions, her pianist Henri will try everything to retrieve Annabelle Canto’s lost voice. Designed for an audience of 5 to 12 year olds, the performance offers a humorous encounter with characters and classic works from the opera repertoire. A concert written and directed by François Racine, featuring Christina Tannous, soprano, and Dominic Boulianne, pianist and actor.
Presented by the McGill Chamber Orchestra.
