Posted by Maroussia Mélia | August 7, 2024

Montreal, August 7, 2024 – The annual golf tournament of the Jeunesses Musicales Canada Foundation, held on August 5 at the prestigious Royal Montreal Golf Club, was a success, raising over 125,000 to support the mission of Jeunesses Musicales Canada. This memorable evening brought together golf and music enthusiasts in a convivial and festive atmosphere.

The event was highlighted by a special tribute to Richard Lupien, in recognition of his 15 years of dedication to the Foundation. Richard has played a crucial role in the Foundation’s mission, enabling significant funds to be raised to support young Canadian musicians. His exemplary commitment has touched many lives and enriched our musical community.

Participants were also delighted by the outstanding performance of the duo Stick&Bow, composed of Krystina Marcoux and Juan Sebastian Delgado. Their eclectic repertoire, ranging from Beethoven to David Bowie, captivated the audience and added a unique artistic touch to the evening.

“This golf tournament is always a highlight for us at the JM Canada Foundation. Seeing the generosity and enthusiasm of our community come together to support young musicians is a great source of pride. The recognition of Richard Lupien and the performance of Stick&Bow made this edition particularly special.” – Véronique Desjardins, Executive Director, JM Canada Foundation.

We express our sincere gratitude to all participants, partners, and donors for their indispensable support. Together, we continue to build a promising future for music and our society.
