PRESS RELEASE
Montreal, March 13, 2025 – The Jeunesses Musicales Canada Foundation had the pleasure of welcoming its donors and partners for a special evening of appreciation on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Salle Joseph-Rouleau at André Bourbeau’s JMC House. This exclusive event, filled with the magic of music and a warm atmosphere, was dedicated to expressing our deepest gratitude to those who generously and wholeheartedly support our mission.
The evening commenced with an exclusive preview of the Modern Touches: Debussy, Descarries, Louie concert, brilliantly performed by the talented Montreal pianist Gabrielle Gagnon-Picard. Her captivating performance reminded the audience of the vital role classical music plays in cultural enrichment and the growth of young artists.
Following this inspiring musical interlude, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, fostering meaningful exchanges and allowing us to warmly thank our benefactors while highlighting the impact of their generosity.
“This evening was an opportunity to showcase the achievements made possible through our donors. Their invaluable support allows young talents to thrive and bring classical music to a wider audience,” emphasized Véronique Desjardins, Executive Director of the Jeunesses Musicales Canada Foundation.
With around fifty attendees, the evening was a resounding success, demonstrating the strength of the community that supports the Foundation and Jeunesses Musicales Canada.
The Jeunesses Musicales Canada Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to its donors and partners for their trust and commitment. Together, we continue to make music resonate and offer a promising future for young musicians.
