Biography:

Marie-Eve Munger is an exceptional coloratura soprano from Saguenay, Quebec. She is renowned for her disarmingly easy coloratura and her ability to preserve the warmth of her timbre. Her stage presence is often described as captivating, with critics claiming that she ‘steals the show’.

During the 2024-25 season, she will perform prestigious roles such as Manon Lescaut at the Teatro Regio Torino and Blondchen at the Opéra de St-Étienne. She has also been acclaimed for her performances in major productions at Opéra National du Rhin, Opéra de Lille, and the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

In addition to her vocal talents, she was recently appointed General Director of the Opéra du Royaume in Saguenay, where she collaborates with her husband, British director John La Bouchardière.
