Percussion, action !

In this introduction to rhythm, young people get to explore and observe various musical cultures that use the body as a percussion instrument. Over three sessions, they will learn about gumboot, flamenco, beatbox, and much more. In small groups, they will tackle rhythmic challenges and create new ones, inspired by the percussive techniques covered in each of the sessions.

Series of 3 workshops over a 3-week period

Target Audience: 7 to 12 years old
Length: 55 minutes, one workshop per 3 weeks
Maximum number of participants: 20 children (or 1 class)
